GEAR | The Tomboy Style x Kletterwerks Tote-Pack
Way back in May of 2013 I flew to Bozeman, Montana to help design a collaboration bag with the incredible people at Kletterwerks—who have been making packs, pouches, and gear in the same way for almost 40 years. After tweaks and changes and more tweaks we think we've come up with something pretty dang special. It's a tote and it's a backpack, so we're calling it a tote-pack—and it's really one of the most functional bags I've ever used for schlepping my stuff. From jackets and sweaters, to cameras and computers, to a few bottles of wine, everything seems to fit in this bag. It's American-made, simple in its design, and incredibly versatile.
I carry it both like a tote from the handles and like a backpack, and it really is my favorite bag. The Tomboy Style x Klettwerks tote ($99) comes in two colorways and will be available at select retailers starting Thursday, including Mohawk in Silver Lake where we're having a little launch party from 6pm-9pm—come out and check it out if you're in L.A.!
For those of you not in L.A. and anxious to get your paws on one of these bags, I have a limited quantity for sale here!
I'm endlessly thankful to Lauren Garroni for creating and concepting such a great promo video. Thanks again, LG.
UPDATE: The totepack sold out on my Big Cartel site on Friday (thank you!), but you can get it straight from Westerlind, just click here!
