SCENE | Tanner Goods Los Angeles

Three weeks ago, a piece of the Pacific Northwest moved south, when the rustic leather-heavy men's accessories maker Tanner Goods opened their doors in downtown L.A., in one of the most urban jungle-y neighborhoods in town. Just kitty-corner from The Ace and across the street from Acne Jeans, Tanner Goods is hawking their supple leather belts, folios, packs and accessories, and all the gear one would need to trounce through the woods or down Broadway. The bottom line is the outdoor aesthetic seems to really the look right now, and Tanner is nailing it—one rivet at a time. Although the Portland-based store caters to gents, there are plenty of tomboy-ready wares on offer, including Mazama ceramics, camera straps, belts, bracelets, dog accessories, sunglasses cases, leather coasters, it's all there.
